Managing Deployments
Viewing your deployments
Go to Dashboard > Edge Agents to see all your active edge deployments:
- Status —
active,provisioning,suspended,failed - Invocations — total request count
- CPU time — cumulative CPU milliseconds used
- Last invocation — when the agent was last called
- Model — which LLM model is configured
Deployment details
Click any deployment to see:
Health check
Shows the /_provision response — which secrets are configured, which are missing.
Metrics
- Total invocations
- CPU time consumed
- Last invocation timestamp
Secrets management
- View which secrets are configured (names only, never values)
- Add or update secret values
- Delete secrets
Lifecycle actions
- Restart — re-provisions the worker with the latest published version
- Delete — removes the worker from Cloudflare, frees up an agent slot
Updating to a new version
When a seller publishes a new version of their template:
- You see a notification in the dashboard
- Click Restart on your deployment
- The platform re-provisions with the latest published version
- Your secrets are preserved — no reconfiguration needed
Your deployment URL stays the same after updates.
SDK usage
import { AgentDeploy } from '@agentdeploy/sdk';
const client = new AgentDeploy({
apiKey: process.env.AGENTDEPLOY_API_KEY!,
});
// List all deployments
const { items, total } = await client.listDeployments({ limit: 25 });
console.log(`${total} deployments`);
for (const dep of items) {
console.log(`${dep.id} — ${dep.status} — ${dep.edge_invocations_total} calls`);
}
// Get a specific deployment
const deployment = await client.getDeployment('dep-abc123');
// Check health
const health = await deployment.health();
console.log('Provisioned:', health.provisioned);
// Update a secret
await deployment.setSecret('LLM_API_KEY', 'your-new-key');
// Restart (re-provision with latest version)
await deployment.restart();
// Delete
await deployment.destroy();
Usage tracking
Monitor your plan usage in Dashboard > Usage:
- Edge agents deployed vs your plan limit
- Token consumption vs your monthly allowance
- Overage charges if you've exceeded limits
Token overages are billed at $0.02 per 1K tokens. The gateway enforces limits per-request — once you hit your allowance, subsequent requests are charged to your payment method.
Troubleshooting
Deployment stuck in provisioning
This means not all required secrets are configured:
- Open the deployment detail page
- Check the health check for missing secrets
- Configure each missing secret
- The status will change to
activewithin seconds
Deployment shows failed
Check the failure reason in the deployment detail page. Common causes:
- Cloudflare deployment error (transient — try restart)
- Invalid secret format
- Worker exceeded CPU time limit (contact the seller to increase the limit)
Agent returning errors
Check:
- Is the LLM API key valid?
- Has the LLM provider account been suspended?
- Are you within your token allowance? (Overage charges may apply)
